Travel Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Shanghai :

Arrival in Shanghai followed by airport transfer to the hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2:

Shanghai City Tour :

Explore the cultural and modern highlights of Shanghai including Yu Garden, the historic Chenghuang Temple, the iconic Bund waterfront, and the impressive Oriental Pearl Tower in the Lujiazui financial district. Continue to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, one of the busiest shopping streets in the world.

Day 3:

Zhujiajiao Water Town :

After breakfast, check out and travel to Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town, a picturesque canal town dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride through its historic waterways before transferring to the railway station for an overnight sleeper bullet train to Beijing.

Day 4:

Beijing Imperial Heritage :

Arrive in Beijing and begin exploring the capital’s historic landmarks. Visit Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, followed by Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Continue to the magnificent Forbidden City and Palace Museum, once home to China’s imperial dynasties. Later check in to your Beijing hotel.

Day 5:

Great Wall of China & Summer Palace :

Visit the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall of China, one of the most scenic and historic mountain passes of the wall. Later explore the beautiful Summer Palace, a UNESCO-listed imperial garden famous for its lakes, palaces, and landscaped gardens. Enjoy a Royal Dragon Boat cruise on Kunming Lake.

Day 6:

Temple of Heaven & Departure :

Check out from the hotel and visit the Temple of Heaven, a historic complex where emperors once performed sacred ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Afterwards transfer for departure.
